Hurricane Hits Hawaii: Over 60,000 Homes Left Without Power

A hurricane has struck the US state of Hawaii, resulting in the death of one person. Over 60,000 homes are without power, and more than 190 flights have been delayed due to the severe winds and rainfall. Hawaii Governor Josh Green shared information about the hurricane via social media. He stated that one person lost their life in a traffic accident related to the storm. The National Hurricane Center reported that the hurricane's wind speed reached approximately 129 kilometers per hour and warned of potential floods and landslides. Alameda noted that the largest number of roads have been closed in the state so far, and prolonged power outages are expected. Before the hurricane hit, there was a rush at markets and gas stations in Hawaii, and evacuation centers were opened in some areas. The last hurricane to directly hit Hawaii was the Category 4 Iniki Hurricane, which struck the island of Kauai in 1992.
