Heatwave to Return with 10-Degree Temperature Rise

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) announced that the cool and rainy weather will lose its effect from noon today. The air temperature is expected to range between 28 and 32 degrees throughout the week. According to AKOM's July 26 weather forecast report, air temperatures will rise rapidly during the day, with hot and clear weather expected to prevail in the city throughout the week.The report stated that temperatures are expected to increase by 16 to 18 degrees from today, ranging between 28 and 32 degrees throughout the week. The sky is expected to be mostly sunny and clear.According to AKOM's predictions, the air temperature, which was measured at 21 degrees in the morning, is expected to rise to 27 degrees by noon. The temperature is expected to drop to 25 degrees in the evening and 23 degrees at night. The humidity is expected to range between 40 and 80 percent throughout the day, with winds from the south expected to be light to moderate at times.
