Weather Alert: Strong Winds in Marmara, Rain in Black Sea
According to the latest weather report from the Meteorology General Directorate, no significant change in temperature is expected across Turkey. However, strong winds from the northeast are expected in the Marmara Region, and rain and thunderstorms are expected in the Eastern Black Sea, Ordu, Artvin, Kars, and Ardahan.Most of the country will experience clear and sunny weather, while the northeastern regions will see rain. Particularly, the Eastern Black Sea coast, Ordu, Artvin, Kars, and Ardahan are expected to experience local rain and thunderstorms.In the Marmara Region, strong winds are expected to blow from the northeast at 30 to 50 kilometers per hour. Authorities warned citizens to be cautious of potential damage to roofs, trees, and transportation, as well as disruptions to maritime transportation.Temperatures across the country will remain around seasonal norms, with no significant changes expected. The Southeastern Anatolia region will continue to experience sweltering heat. In the Aegean region, temperatures will reach 37°C in Izmir, 38°C in Denizli, and 35°C in Muğla.According to Meteorology's forecasts, the main provinces expected to experience rain are in the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia regions. Other regions are expected to have mostly clear and sunny weather.The Meteorology General Directorate also issued a warning for citizens and fishermen at sea, particularly in the Marmara Sea and the Northern and Central Aegean, where northeasterly winds are expected to reach 5 to 7 force, with wave heights possibly reaching 3 meters.
