Weather Warning: Heavy Rain and Strong Wind Expected

The Meteorology General Directorate published its weather forecast report for July 18, 2026. Heavy rain is expected in the northeastern parts of Ardahan, Kars, and Erzurum, while strong winds will be effective in the southwestern part of Marmara, the northern coast of the Aegean, and the southeastern part of Eastern Anatolia.The northern parts of the country and the Eastern Mediterranean will be partly and very cloudy. Meteorology officials warned citizens to be cautious against the risk of flash floods, floods, lightning, hail, transportation disruptions, and local flooding.Strong winds are expected to affect some parts of Marmara, the Aegean, and Eastern Anatolia. Strong winds may cause roof flying, tree falling, transportation disruptions, and adverse conditions in maritime transportation, while citizens are advised to follow up-to-date meteorological warnings.
