Three-Vehicle Collision in Hatay: 2 Dead, 4 Injured

A traffic accident involving a truck, a car, and a passenger bus in Hatay's Erzin district resulted in the loss of 2 lives and injured 4 people. The accident occurred on the Dörtyol-Erzin Highway in the Kuzuculu neighborhood, where the truck, driven by Ö.Ö. and bearing the license plate 60 AHU 248, lost control due to a swerving maneuver. A passenger bus, driven by K.S. and belonging to Hatay CSR Seyahat with the license plate 31 R 0242, and a car driven by Mert Aysüt with the license plate 31 AHR 776, collided with the truck's trailer. Emergency services, including 112 Emergency Health, highway gendarmerie, and fire department teams, were dispatched to the scene following reports from bystanders. Those injured in the accident included the car's driver, Aysüt, and his passengers, Ahmet Baran Çapar, Ecem B, Çağla U, Derya Ö., and İbrahim Y. Aysüt and Çapar succumbed to their injuries after being taken to nearby hospitals. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
