Tragedy in Southern Cyprus: Two Children Left in Car by Parents Die
A devastating incident occurred at a British military base in Southern Cyprus, where two young boys were left in a car by their parents and lost their lives. The event took place at the British Royal Air Force base in the Dhekelia region. The 8 and 10-year-old boys died due to extreme heat and asphyxiation after being locked in the family car. The Southern Cyprus police investigated the cause of death and determined that the children died from asphyxiation and burns caused by the high temperature inside the vehicle. The incident was discovered after a local resident called the police to report children trapped in a car. Rescue teams arrived at the scene, broke the car windows, and rushed the children to the hospital. Unfortunately, doctors announced that both children had lost their lives. British authorities arrested the children's father (30) and stepmother (34) on charges of negligence. The couple is expected to be brought before the court.
