Gülşen Sues Umut Akyürek for 5 Million Lira in Compensation

Famous singer Gülşen has filed a lawsuit against Umut Akyürek for 5 million lira in compensation for his words against her.Gülşen, through her lawyer, claimed that Akyürek's words damaged her honor, dignity, and reputation. Akyürek had accused Gülşen and Hadise of being bad role models for young people, citing a video shared by his daughter Melek Bal Ertuğrul.Gülşen's lawyer stated in the petition that Akyürek's words were unfair and unlawful. He attempted to undermine my client's moral world, family life, wife, and young child, and committed a reputation assassination. Akyürek’s daughter also stated that she does not consider my client as a role model.Umut Akyürek's statement that my client, who has a very decent life outside of stage shows, was responsible for his daughter's sharing, is unfair and unlawful.Following Gülşen's move, Hadise also filed a lawsuit against Umut Akyürek for 60,000 lira in compensation, claiming that he attacked her personality rights.We demand that Umut Akyürek be sentenced to 5 million lira in compensation for targeting my client's reputation, deliberately insulting her, and disturbing her peace of mind.
