New Development in Gülistan Doku Disappearance Case: IT Company Owner Arrested

An investigation into the disappearance of Gülistan Doku has led to the arrest of IT company owner Mehmet Aca. A significant development has occurred in the case of university student Gülistan Doku, who has been missing since January 5, 2020. Following operations ordered by the Tunceli and Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, 15 suspects were detained. After the completion of procedures for 6 of these suspects, they were referred to the courthouse. Among those referred were the wife of former Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, Handan Sonel, IT company owner Mehmet Aca, and former security guard commander Y.A. Mehmet Aca was arrested on charges of 'unlawfully accessing or remaining in a computer system' and 'destroying, hiding, or altering evidence of a crime,' while the proceedings for Handan Sonel and Y.A. are ongoing, as reported.
