New Developments in Gülistan Doku Case: Hospital Records and Evidence

The Erzurum and Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices announced new developments in the Gülistan Doku investigation. Following the discovery of new evidence, 15 more suspects were detained, including 3 doctors, 1 nurse, 1 IT specialist, 5 data entry personnel, and 2 security guards. The Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that analysis of statements, cyber, technical, digital, financial, and field investigations are ongoing. The Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that significant findings were obtained through the evaluation of witnesses, secret witnesses, notifications, HTS records, and other information and documents. In previous operations related to the Gülistan Doku investigation, 17 suspects were detained. As part of the investigation, 12 suspects, including the former Governor of Tunceli, Tuncay Sonel, his son Mustafa Türkay Sonel, Zeinal Abakarov, former police officer Gökhan Ertok, and various public officials, were arrested, while 5 people were released under judicial control.
