Person Who Started Fire Near Gordion Ancient City Arrested

In the Polatlı district of Ankara, a person who started a fire in a meadow area near the historic Gordion Ancient City was caught by security teams and arrested by the court.Upon receiving a report that a person was burning dry grass with a lighter in Yassıhöyük Mahallesi, security teams were dispatched to the area and caught the suspect, Y.E.G, in the act of burning grass at the entrance of Beylikköprü Mahallesi. The suspect, who was found to be under the influence of alcohol, was taken into custody and then arrested.The fire, which affected an area of approximately 250 acres, was extinguished by the security teams. The security teams were quickly dispatched to the area after the fire started and prevented it from spreading further.
