Search Efforts Underway for Mother and Daughters Swept Away by Floodwaters in Giresun

A mother and her two daughters were swept away by floodwaters in the Zıva Stream in Görele, Giresun. The incident occurred in the Hamzalı village of Görele district. Mother Zekiye Kırca and her two daughters were carried away by the stream after entering it. Following the notification from the locals, gendarmerie, AFAD, fire department, and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene. Search efforts are ongoing to locate the missing individuals. The families and relatives of the missing persons have not left the scene.
