A Solution to Gaza's War-Induced Problems: A Device Powered by Vegetable Oil

The Gaza Strip has been facing significant damage to its electricity infrastructure due to years of conflict and attacks. This has forced the local population to find ways to survive on their own. With fuel and electricity supply becoming increasingly difficult, many people are trying to convert waste and scrap materials into fuel to meet their daily needs. Under these challenging conditions, Palestinian blacksmith Akram Huvayhi, along with his colleagues, has developed a device that runs on vegetable oil and can be used for both lighting and cooking. This device aims to partially replace the basic needs that are usually met with gas, electricity, or wood. Huvayhi hopes that this project will bring hope to the people of Gaza.
