Gaza Peace Council Calls on Netanyahu to Halt Attacks

The High Representative of the Gaza Peace Council, Nickolay Mladenov, and the Senior Adviser to the Council, Aryeh Lightstone, met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called for an immediate halt to attacks on the Gaza Strip. Israeli warplanes have killed 28 Palestinians in attacks since the weekend.According to reports in the Israeli media, Mladenov and Lightstone urged Netanyahu to fulfill the commitments made when accepting the 20-point plan of US President Donald Trump and stop the attacks in Gaza.Israeli officials stated that they would not withdraw from their current position in Gaza and would continue to eliminate any threats to their citizens.The attacks in Gaza have resulted in the loss of civilian lives and the destruction of medical supplies, without mentioning the name of Israel.
