The 100th Anniversary of Gazi Koşusu: A Special Prize of 100 Million Liras

The most important event in Turkish horse racing, Gazi Koşusu, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The competition will take place at Veliefendi Hipodromu, where jockeys and horses will give their best performances.22 horses will participate in the race, which will be held on a 2,400-meter grass track. The first Gazi Koşusu was held in 1927 by the order of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and since then, it has been considered the most important event in horse racing.The winner of Gazi Koşusu will receive a special prize. The first prize will be 50 million liras, and the winner will also receive the 100th Anniversary Gazi Koşosu Special Award, registration fees, installment fees, and horse owner premiums. In total, there will be a chance to win a prize of 126 million 870 thousand liras.
