France's Aircraft Carrier Charles de Gaulle Returning to France

French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, which was sent to the Middle East after the US-Iran tension, is on its way back to the port of Toulon.Macron stated that he evaluated the security conditions and changing needs in the region after his meeting with Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

France has sent mine clearance equipment to the Middle East, including two mine hunters. Along with two frigates and a naval patrol aircraft, these assets are ready to contribute, along with our partners, to the full resumption of navigation and ensure traffic safety in the Strait of Oman.

The Charles de Gaulle was sent to the Middle East after the outbreak of war, following Macron's instructions. The aircraft carrier is currently sailing in the Mediterranean.
