FETÖ's Karatepe Points Out Locations: Results of Search Efforts Announced

Burkay Karatepe, a member of FETÖ who was involved in the attempted assassination of President Erdoğan during the July 15 coup attempt and was captured after 10 years, pointed out locations where no weapons or ammunition were found.Karatepe, who was involved in the attempted assassination in Marmaris, was arrested after being on the wanted list for 10 years. Two canned food containers, one full and one empty, were found buried at the searched location.The investigation into Karatepe continues as a result of a joint effort coordinated by the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the police departments of Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir, and Muğla.Following the suspect's statements, a search was conducted to find the long-barreled weapons, pistols, and ammunition that he claimed to have buried in the Armutalan and İçmeler neighborhoods of Marmaris, Muğla, after the attempted assassination.
