Forest Fire in Fethiye Continues to Receive Response

The forest fire that started in Fethiye, Muğla at 12:30 pm yesterday continues to receive response from teams working from the air and ground.The fire, which emerged in Gökçeovacık Mahallesi , spread to İnlice Mahallesi, prompting the evacuation of some homes in the area. While ground response efforts continued throughout the night, aerial response resumed with the first light of day.Aircraft and ground vehicles from the Muğla Forest Regional Directorate, along with firefighting teams, are battling the fire . According to a statement from the General Directorate of Forestry, the fire has largely been brought under control.
