Fenerbahçe Completes Greenwood Transfer: Rashford in Sight

Fenerbahçe has added English footballer Mason Greenwood to its squad. The Turkish club is now targeting Marcus Rashford and another star player after completing the Greenwood transfer. Fenerbahçe signed a 4-year contract with the 24-year-old striker, who was transferred from French club Olimpik Marsilya. The Turkish club will pay Olimpik Marsilya a transfer fee of 39 million euros in three equal installments over three years for Greenwood. Mason Greenwood began his professional career at Manchester United. The English player made his professional debut at the age of 17, coming on as a substitute in the 87th minute of Manchester United's UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain. Greenwood made his first appearance in the English Premier League four days later, playing for Manchester United against Arsenal. Greenwood became the youngest player to score a goal in European competitions for Manchester United, achieving this feat in a UEFA Europa League match against Astana. With 35 goals in 129 matches for Manchester United, Greenwood joined Spanish club Getafe in 2023. Fenerbahçe will initiate official talks for Marcus Rashford. The Turkish club wants to reach an agreement with the English giants as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman is also on the list for the left wing position. The Nigerian player's situation at Atletico Madrid is awaiting clarification.
