Over 160,000 Young Couples Received Credit Payments

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş shared information about the work done within the scope of the Young Couples Support Project. Minister Göktaş announced on her social media account that over 285,000 applications have been received so far and credit payments have been made to over 160,000 young people. Emphasizing the importance of young people feeling strong and secure during their marriage preparations, Göktaş stated that the support will continue. Stating that the project provides not only financial support but also pre-marital education and counseling services, Göktaş noted that interest-free credit support of 250,000 TL is provided to couples between the ages of 18-25, and 200,000 TL to couples between the ages of 26-29.

We have received over 285,000 applications so far, and we have provided education and counseling support to over 222,000 young people. Over 230,000 of our young people have qualified for credit, and we have made credit payments to over 160,000 of them.

Göktaş stated that young people who want to benefit from the project can apply through the Family Youth Fund, and emphasized that young people who embark on the journey of marriage will continue to be supported at every stage.
