Massive Meat Seizure in Sakarya: 5.5 Tons of Unlabeled Meat Destroyed

In the Hendek district of Sakarya, a significant amount of unlabeled meat and meat products were seized during an inspection at a sucuk production facility.The inspection was carried out by the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Hendek Municipality police teams. The seized products, weighing 5.5 tons, were destroyed in accordance with the regulations. The destroyed products included various types of meat products. The facility owner was also fined under the 'Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law'.The authorities stated that they will continue to conduct inspections to ensure food safety . The efforts to ensure the safety of food products in Sakarya were also highlighted .
