Former Akçakoca Mayor Fikret Albayrak's Detention Period Extended

Fikret Albayrak, the former mayor of Akçakoca in Düzce, was previously arrested on charges of 'coercive bribery'. After being suspended from his duties, a release decision was made for Albayrak, but the Düzce Chief Public Prosecutor's Office objected to this decision. Following the acceptance of the objection, the on-duty Court of First Instance ruled for the re-arrest of Fikret Albayrak. After the completion of his procedures at the courthouse, Albayrak was sent to the Düzce T Type Closed and Open Prison Institution.
