No Change in Leadership: Paşinyan Remains in Office in Armenia

The leadership in Armenia remains unchanged as Nikol Paşinyan has taken the office of the prime minister once again.Following a constitutional procedure, Armenian President Vahagn Haçaturyan appointed Paşinyan as the prime minister. This appointment came at the beginning of the new parliamentary session. In his speech to the parliament, Paşinyan emphasized that Armenia can change the course of history.Paşinyan's party, the Civil Contract Party, won 64 seats with 49.74% of the vote in the parliamentary elections held on June 7, thus gaining the right to form a government on its own. The opposition blocs, on the other hand, secured a total of 41 seats.Under Paşinyan's leadership, Armenia has experienced significant domestic and foreign policy developments.Hopes and expectations for Armenia's future continue to grow with Paşinyan's reappointment as prime minister.
