Suspect Involved in Assassination Attempt on Erdoğan Arrested

A suspect, Ö.A., who was found to have aided Burkay Karatepe, a fugitive member of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) involved in the assassination attempt on President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the 2016 coup attempt in Marmaris, Muğla, has been arrested.Ö.A. was discovered to have provided his own SIM card to Karatepe and helped him hide in the surroundings of earthquake housing.After completing his procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and appeared before a judge. As a result, Ö.A. was arrested and sent to prison.Following the arrest, statements were made.
