New Appointment System for Importing Vehicles for People with Disabilities to Launch in September

The Ministry of Trade has announced that a new appointment system for importing specially designed vehicles for people with disabilities will be launched in September. The Ministry is continuing to develop digital applications to provide faster and more accessible public services. People with disabilities can import specially designed vehicles exempt from customs duties. Applications are submitted through the EAİS system on the e-Government platform. The appointment system has been developed to manage application processes more effectively and to conduct commission work in a more planned manner. With the system, which will be available from September, waiting times for citizens will also be reduced.

With the new appointment system, evaluation processes will be carried out based on appointments created through the e-Government platform. A 10-minute evaluation period has been planned for each application, and people with disabilities will be able to participate in commission procedures by selecting a suitable date and time. The appointment system aims to ensure that commission work is conducted regularly, application processes are made more efficient, and waiting times for citizens are reduced.
