Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to Provide Monthly 13,750 Lira Scholarship to University Students

The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has launched a scholarship program for young people who want to pursue a career. 300 undergraduate students who rank among the first 100,000 in the YKS will receive a monthly scholarship of 13,750 lira. The conditions for the scholarship have been announced. Accordingly, 300 undergraduate students who rank among the first 100,000 in the 2025 or 2026 YKS will receive a monthly scholarship of 13,750 lira. The required condition is to be placed in one of the 27 undergraduate programs in strategic areas such as energy, nuclear technology, mining, boron, rare earth elements, and advanced materials determined by the ministry. The first of the TENMAK Research Scholarship Programs was shared with the public by Minister Alparslan Bayraktar on the day the YKS exam results were announced. Minister Bayraktar shared the application dates as September 1-15, 2026, and also provided the website link where the scholarship application can be made. Undergraduate students who are placed in one of the 27 undergraduate programs determined by TENMAK and rank among the first 100,000 in the 2025 or 2026 YKS can apply for the scholarship. Applications will be received online through the TENMAK Support System between September 1-15, 2026. Candidates will use the website https://girisimci.tenmak.gov.tr/burs for the application process.
