The Wait is Over for Retirees: Updated Information on E-Government

Following the announcement of the July increases, which affect all retirees, the SGK has updated the e-Government system with the new pension payment information. SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Emekli Sandığı retirees can now view their increased pension payments and base salary information on the e-Government website.Under the new arrangement, SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees will receive a 17.76% pension increase, while civil servant and civil servant retirees will receive a 13.52% increase.Retirees can access their pension information by logging into the e-Government system and using the relevant service screen according to their insurance branch. The payment schedule for the increased pension payments for July has also been announced. Memur retirees will begin receiving their increased payments on July 15. SSK retirees will receive their payments between July 17-26, based on the last digit of their allocation number. Bağ-Kur retirees will receive their increased payments between July 25-28. The payment schedule for the differences in civil servant retirees' payments will be announced in the coming days.In addition to the July increase, a bill proposing to raise the minimum pension to 23,552 TL is still being discussed in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Once the bill is enacted and published in the Official Gazette, it will come into effect. If the regulation is implemented in time for the pension payment schedule, retirees receiving the base salary will be able to see their increased payments directly in their accounts. If the law is not implemented in time for the payment period, the resulting pension differences will be paid to the beneficiaries as a difference payment at a later date.
