New Increase Calculation for Retirees Started: 3 Different Scenarios on the Table

With the announcement of the July inflation figure, the calculation of the new increase for retirees has officially begun. Following the first data of the 6-month increase marathon, three different increase scenarios emerged based on year-end forecasts. In July, public officials and retiree civil servants received a 13.52% increase, while SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees received a 17.76% increase. After the minimum retirement pension was increased to 23,552 TL, beneficiaries received an additional payment of up to 3,552 TL. The annual cost of this regulation to the budget is estimated to be around 79 billion TL, and the payments will be made to the beneficiaries' accounts on August 7, 2026.
