Retired General Zekai Aksakallı: Our Army is at its Best Today

Retired General Zekai Aksakallı, who was the Commander of Special Forces during the FETÖ's coup attempt on July 15, 2016, visited the grave of Non-Commissioned Officer Ömer Halisdemir.Aksakallı stated that 10 years have passed since the coup attempt by the traitorous networks that want to eliminate the country's national unity and existence.

Our whole nation should continue to struggle to keep their country alive within the national unity and togetherness. Of course, the whole world knows that this nation is a nation in love with its future and independence. As it did on July 15, it will sacrifice itself against tanks, artillery, and planes for the sake of its unity. The martyrdom of all our martyrs is blessed. May our state and nation exist.
