The Bread Guarantee: Wheat Export Ban Lifted

The Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has made a significant announcement regarding the resumption of wheat exports. As of July 29, exports have been allowed to resume, with the decision taking into account domestic production and stocks.

Taking into account domestic production, existing stocks, and domestic consumption needs, and considering that supply security is at a sufficient level, it has been decided to reopen wheat and broken wheat exports, which have been closed since March 2025, as of July 29. Export transactions will be carried out in a controlled and balanced manner through applications made through the Central Anatolian Exporters' Unions (OAİB) General Secretariat, taking into account the domestic supply situation by our organization.
