According to AFAD's data, the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Gulf of Kusadasi, approximately 17.43 kilometers from the Menderes district of Izmir. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 9.5 kilometers.
AFAD reported that the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5.
