A Deadly Fall: 57-Year-Old Man Dies While Attempting to Pick Mulberries

In Uşak, a tragic incident occurred in Mehmet Akif Ersoy Mahallesi, Fourth Avcı Street, resulting in the loss of life of a 57-year-old man. The individual, identified as Ahmet Çalkan, fell from the roof of a two-story building. Following the incident report, health and police teams were promptly dispatched to the scene. Preliminary medical intervention at the scene revealed that Ahmet Çalkan, who fell from the roof to the ground, had lost his life. Initial assessments indicated that Çalkan had climbed onto the roof to pick mulberries from a tree in the backyard but lost his balance and fell. Subsequent to the incident, the public prosecutor conducted an investigation, after which Ahmet Çalkan's body was taken to the Uşak Education and Research Hospital morgue for autopsy procedures.
