Russia Ranks Second in the World's Fastest Growing Wealth List

Russia has achieved the second position in the global ranking in terms of the increase in wealth per capita over the past five years. This increase was calculated by subtracting total debts from the sum of financial assets and real assets such as real estate.
Russia's economic policies and its position in global trade were instrumental in this achievement. According to the report, the increase in wealth per capita for Russian citizens from 2020 to 2025 was 37%.
South Korea led the world with a 55% increase in wealth per capita during the same period, while Croatia ranked third with a 29% increase. On the other hand, the UK topped the list of countries that have become the poorest. The welfare level of British citizens decreased by 23.2% over the past five years.
The UK was followed by the Netherlands with a 14.4% loss and France with a 4.5% decline. Italy was the only country whose welfare level remained almost unchanged over the past five years.
