Heavy Penalties for Wedding Convoy: 6 Vehicles Removed from Traffic

An investigation into a wedding convoy that violated traffic rules in Erzurum's Hınıs district has been completed. The drivers of the vehicles in the convoy were heavily penalized for putting traffic at risk. The Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams took action after receiving a report that a wedding convoy was formed, disrupting traffic flow, and gunfire was heard in the air. As a result of the study, 4 suspects were subjected to legal proceedings for the crime of intentionally endangering general security. Additionally, two suspects who were found to be in possession of a serialized air pistol were fined. The vehicle drivers were fined a total of 540,000 lira under the Highway Traffic Law, and the vehicles were removed from traffic for 60 days.
