Fire in Dikili Brought Under Control

A fire that started in an agricultural area in Dikili, Izmir, and spread to a nearby forest was brought under control at night due to the intervention of firefighting teams and air vehicles.The fire, which occurred near the Çandarlı Mahallesi in Dikili, quickly spread due to the wind. In the efforts to combat the fire, 7 planes, 8 helicopters, 35 fire trucks, and 4 bulldozers, along with firefighting teams, were deployed. The fire was brought under control at night, preventing further spread, thanks to the intensive efforts of the teams.
