DPR Leader Pushilin: Konstantinovka Was Fortified by Ukrainian Militants

The leader of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, stated that Konstantinovka, which has been completely controlled by the Russian army, was a critical defense center for the Kiev regime. In his statement to the Russian media, Pushilin emphasized that Konstantinovka was fortified by Ukrainian armed groups for years.

For so many years, Konstantinovka was a key defense center and a very serious, strong fortified position for Ukrainian armed groups. The enemy had time and opportunity, so they turned the city into a real fortress. They converted multi-story residential buildings into firing points and the industrial area into a kind of fortress.

Pushilin noted that Russia is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of civilians. Currently, every basement and shelter is being carefully inspected, and temporary accommodation centers are being prepared for the evacuation of civilians in parallel with the military cleansing operations. Pushilin also commented on the scale of destruction in the city, saying, 'The destruction is very serious. Of course, once the necessary security conditions are met, our experts will arrive in the area and conduct definitive damage assessment work.' According to the latest information from military sources, the Ukrainian militants who were defeated in Konstantinovka were pushed back to several kilometers outside the city.
