Defne Kurt Wins Gold Medal in Europe

National para swimmer Defne Kurt won the 100m freestyle final at the European Swimming Championships in Paris, France, with a time of 59.21 seconds, earning a gold medal. Defne Kurt also competed in the 50m freestyle at the same championship and won a silver medal with a time of 27.13 seconds. The Turkish Swimming Federation congratulated European champion Defne Kurt and her coach Nuriye Renin Gemicioğlu Oyen. Defne Kurt's achievement has brought great joy to the Turkish swimming community.
