Danish Princess Isabella Begins Her Military Service

Danish Princess Isabella has officially started her 11-month military service by reporting to the barracks in Slagelse, as part of Denmark's expanded compulsory military service.The 19-year-old daughter of Danish King Frederik and Queen Mary will undergo training alongside approximately 1,600 new recruits.Princess Isabella will receive 5 months of basic military training at the barracks in Slagelse. Following this, she will participate in operational tasks for 6 months, completing her total 11-month service.According to an official statement from the Danish Royal Family, Princess Isabella will not receive the same pay and benefits as other soldiers during her service. All personal and operational expenses for the princess will be covered directly by her family.
