Investigation Launched Against Prosecutor Ahmet Yıkılmaz Over Alleged Bribery

The Council of Judges and Prosecutors has launched an investigation into Ankara West Public Prosecutor Ahmet Yıkılmaz over allegations of accepting 300,000 dollars in bribes.Prosecutor Yıkılmaz's name was also mentioned in the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the alleged assassination of Aziz İhsan Aktaş, a witness in the İBB cases.The indictment alleged that he accepted 300,000 dollars in bribes in exchange for lifting asset freezes in the Demir Yumruk investigation.
