Deputy President Yılmaz: New Constitution Studies Should Proceed with the Contribution of All Political Parties

Deputy President Cevdet Yılmaz made statements about the new constitution studies. Yılmaz said, 'The new constitution is not a study that can be done only by one political party or the People's Alliance. It is a process that should progress with a broad consensus and the contribution of political parties in the Parliament.' Regarding the completion of the new constitution studies, Yılmaz stated that some technical evaluations and detailed work are still ongoing. Yılmaz said, 'When we complete these studies, we will present them to the President as soon as possible. It's still early to talk about a clear schedule.'
