President Erdoğan: We Will Not Allow Israel to Turn Our Region into Blood and Gunpowder

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a joint press conference with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif at Vahdettin Köşkü. Erdoğan stated, "No solution can be permanent without the will and contribution of regional countries. We will continue to work in solidarity with brotherly countries, especially Pakistan, to strengthen peace, stability, and prosperity in our region." President Erdoğan emphasized, "We must not allow the war-dependent Israeli government to turn our geography into blood and gunpowder again." He criticized Israel's stance towards Lebanon and Syria, saying, "Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks on Gaza, which are against the law and humanity." President Erdoğan noted that they are working to improve trade and investment relations with Pakistan. Erdoğan stated, "We confirmed our goal to increase our trade volume to $5 billion. Our trade ministries are working on establishing a special economic zone in Karachi for our businessmen."

We are also encouraging our investors to be more active in Pakistan. Our cooperation in the defense industry, one of the most important aspects of our economic relations, is developing with new projects every day.

He believed that Prime Minister Sharif's participation in the business forum would contribute to their investment and trade relations.
