Bloody Attack in Children's Park: Former Husband Shoots Woman and Daughter

In Kırklareli's Demirtaş district, a 26-year-old woman and her 4-year-old daughter were attacked by the woman's former husband in a children's park. The woman lost her life, and the daughter was injured. After the incident, the attacker was found to have committed suicide. In this bloody incident in Kırklareli, 26-year-old Çisem Çalkantı and her 4-year-old daughter Ö.N.K. encountered her former husband Y.K. in a children's park on Muzaffer Ender Caddesi in Demirtaş Mahallesi. This encounter resulted in the woman and her daughter being shot. The suspect Y.K. fired at his former wife and daughter with a gun he pulled from his belt and fled the scene. The heavily injured woman and her daughter were taken to Kırklareli Education and Research Hospital by 112 Emergency Health teams. Despite all interventions, the woman lost her life, and her daughter was referred to Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. The police continued their investigation, and upon receiving a report of a male body in an empty lot in Demirtaş Mahallesi, they initiated an investigation. It was learned that the body belonged to the suspect and that he had committed suicide with a gun. The suspect's body was taken to the hospital morgue after the examination by the public prosecutor.
