Northwest China's Qinghai province has been hit by two consecutive earthquakes, measuring 5.7 and 5.8 in magnitude. According to initial assessments, there have been no official reports of casualties or damage.The earthquakes occurred in a sparsely populated, high-altitude region approximately 244 kilometers away from Xining, the capital of Qinghai province. The tremors took place at a depth of 10 kilometers, with the first one striking at 11:16 local time with a magnitude of 5.7, and the second one at 11:34 with a magnitude of 5.8. Authorities have stated that there have been no official reports of casualties, injuries, or property damage following the earthquakes.
