First Resignation from CHP: Deputy Murat Bakan Leaves the Party

CHP İzmir Deputy Murat Bakan announced his resignation from the party. In a statement on social media, Bakan stated that they are establishing a new party under the leadership of Özgür Özel to uphold the principles and values of the party. He cited the reason for his resignation as leaving the party to those who occupy it only in name and in its buildings.Bakan also shared his experiences within the party. He served as a neighborhood delegate, provincial delegate, congress delegate, and member of parliament. Additionally, he was a member of the Party Council and Minister of Interior in the Shadow Cabinet.Emphasizing the importance of his family within the party, Bakan noted that his mother, father, wife, and son are all party members. It is very difficult for my family, and for me; however, this is not the end, he said.
