New Development in CHP: Special Team to Apply for Call Committee

A new dimension has been added to the absolute annulment process in the Republican People's Party. Zeynel Emre, a member of the group chairman Özgür Özel's team, announced that they will apply to the court for an extraordinary convention and a call committee.This application, a critical stage in the court process, may have significant consequences for the party's future. We attach importance to a decision to be made before the judicial holiday.'The Ankara Regional Court of Justice had previously ruled for the absolute annulment of the CHP. The court had decided to cancel the 38th Ordinary Convention of the CHP, held on November 4-5, 2023. With this decision, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu returned to the post of CHP General Chairman after 2.5 years by court order.The cancellation of the convention also rendered all subsequent ordinary and extraordinary conventions and decisions taken after that date null and void.
