Bad News for Tea Lovers: Tea Prices Have Increased

The Tea Enterprises General Directorate (ÇAYKUR) has once again increased the prices of dried tea. The new prices came into effect on July 6.An average price increase of 15 percent has been applied to dried tea products, and the increased tariffs have started to be reflected on the shelves as of today.ÇAYKUR had previously increased the prices of dried tea by 10 percent on April 8 and by 15 percent on May 22. With the latest increase, the cumulative price increase for dried tea over the past three months has reached approximately 45.5 percent.
