New Development in Çankaya Municipality Investigation: 2 Arrests, 1 Judicial Control

A significant development has occurred in the corruption investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Çankaya Municipality.Three suspects, including Eyüpsultan Deputy Mayor Hasan Karabulut, were referred to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office after their procedures were completed.Two out of three suspects, including Hasan Karabulut, were arrested by the Magistrate's Court on the request of the prosecutor's office, while a judicial control decision was made for the other suspect.Previously, 25 suspects were arrested on charges of 'forming a criminal organization', 'being a member of a criminal organization', 'taking bribes', 'giving bribes', and 'manipulating tenders' in the investigation against Çankaya Municipality.
