Tragedy in Çanakkale After Pesticide Use: 9-Year-Old Child Loses Life

In Çanakkale's Barbaros Mahallesi, a mother and her son were hospitalized after allegedly being poisoned by pesticides used in a neighboring apartment. The father, Uğun Çanlı, found his wife Sevda Çanlı and 9-year-old son Yusuf Talha Çanlı unconscious upon returning home. The father took them to the hospital in his own vehicle. After initial treatment, the mother and child were transferred to Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Hospital.Following examinations, signs of poisoning were detected in both the mother and child. Due to the worsening condition of Yusuf Talha Çanlı, it was decided to transfer him via air ambulance to the Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital in Istanbul. Despite all efforts, the 9-year-old child lost his life. The mother, Sevda Çanlı, is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit. An investigation was launched by the Çanakkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following the incident.
