Fire on Büyükada: Flames Spread from Beach to Forest

A fire broke out in a restaurant on the beach of Büyükada, one of the largest islands in Istanbul, and quickly spread to the nearby forest area. Emergency services are responding to the fire from both the air and the ground, with firefighting teams and helicopters working to contain the blaze. While the fire did not disrupt the ferry services to the islands, residents and visitors were affected by the smoke and heat produced by the fire. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
