Major Forest Fire Breaks Out in Bursa's Osmangazi District

A fire that broke out in a farm in Bursa's Osmangazi district spread to the nearby forest area due to the wind. The fire, which started in the Gökçeören Mahallesi for unknown reasons, engulfed the hay bales in the farm. Some livestock also perished in the fire. The Forestry Regional Directorate teams are intervening in the fire with 3 helicopters from the air and many teams from the ground.As the intervention efforts continue at full speed, the investigation into the causes of the fire by the authorities is ongoing. The efforts of the teams to prevent the fire from spreading to wider areas are seen as an important part of the firefighting efforts.
