Bulgaria Shuts Down Major Fentanyl Laboratory Supplying the Whole Country

In Bulgaria, a large fentanyl production facility that supplied a significant part of the country's drug market has been shut down.The operation took place in a farm hangar in the Faculty region of Sofia. All necessary precursor materials and processed fentanyl were found on site. As a result, 3 people were detained in Sofia and 7 more in other parts of Bulgaria.According to the Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lyubomir Nikolov, the daily production was estimated to be around 6-10 kilograms, which would be enough to supply the entire Bulgarian market.
